• Establishing common facilities Centre (CFC) in Chikalthana industrial area, Aurangabad to enable the engineering units in Marathwada to avail specialized Hi-tech facilities at optimum costs.
• The proposed facilities would comprise :
• Precision Machining Facilities like VMC, Turn Mill, and CNC Lathe.
• Sheet Metal & Tube working machines like Water Jet, 5 Axis Pipe Bending, and CNC Sheet Bending.
• Latest material testing & measurement facilities.
• IT infrastructure with CAD- CAM, CAE design centre
• Training & education, meeting& office spaces, auditorium & exhibition halls.

Steel Furniture Cluster

• Over the years, fabricators in and around Aurangabad & Latur developed the skill of furniture making as per requirement. However due to lack of formal and professional training as well as state of art, machinery are unable to meet the growing expectations from customers in terms of availability and cost. Especially when it comes to bulk requirements are unable to cater within time.
• There is huge scope for improvement in aesthetic quality and finish. Hence manufacturers are losing over market to the traders who are importing Chinese furniture and selling at lower costs.
• If these fabricators are supported with state art CFC can provide availability and efficiency

Establishing a state of art Common Facility Centre (CFC) for enhancing the capabilities of micro & small steel furniture units in Aurangabad under Government’s 5 Cr MSI-CDP schemes.

Paithani Cluster

Paithani is a variety of sari, named after the Paithan town in Aurangabad Maharashtra state where they are woven by hand. Made from very fine silk, it is considered as one of the richest saris in Maharashtra. Paithani is a sari made of silk and zari.

It is a plain weave, with weft figuring designs done on principles of tapestry. Traditionally, Paithan had a colored, cotton muslin field that often contains considerable supplementary zari patterning. Although in the 19th century, silk fields were also woven.

Purpose of the Cluster :

• Establishing a State of art Common Facility Centre ( CFC ) for complete transformation of highly skilled poor women weavers into successful entrepreneurs.
• Reviving the rich heritage art of silk handloom weaving and taking it global level.
• Making silk handloom weaving process to a good source of earning for the weavers.

• Twisting machine

Garment Cluster

• Sewing / stitching / tailoring has been traditional skill of rural women.
• There skills, if nurtured professionally through common facility centre and training centre can be converted in to a good earning profession.
• There are such 40 women in Pimpalner village near Beed who have shown keen interest in developing this aspect.
• These women already taken the basic training of tailoring from the local training institute known as Late. Shobhatai Satishrao Patil Mahila Yavasayik Prashikshan Kendra, Pimpalner.
• If these women are well supported through state of art machinery in Common Facility Centre there can be 20% growth achieved per annum

Truck Body Building Cluster

• Truck body builders, a group of few people in village Madalmohi, Tq. Georai, Dist. Beed Started small fabrication units. Over a period acquired the skill of truck body repair to complete truck body building.
• Soon eco system developed with few other joined and slowly became popular centre in the region for truck body building.
• Now there are 40+ units building @200 new truck body/annum and massive work of repair/renovation is continuously going on.

• Establishing a state of art Common Facility Centre (CFC) for enhancing the capabilities of micro & small Truck Body Building units in and around Madalmohi, Tq. Georai, and Dist. Beed under Government’s MSI-CDP-5 Cr scheme.

Bakery Cluster

• Over the years, bakery unit owners in and around Daulatabad have developed the skill of preparing bakery products as per requirement. Especially when it comes to high expectation regarding hygiene processes.
• There is huge scope for improvement in quality and variety. Hence bakery unit owners are losing growing market potential to the corporate bakery product makers.
• If these local bakery unit owners are supported with state art Common Facility Centre (CFC) can provide variety products with better quality.
• Since bakery products are preferred fresh, there is huge potential for local bakery units to capture local market to the extent of 80 %

Tiny General engineering & Allied Industries cluster

• 17 Years ago a group of first generation young entrepreneurs came together to form Tiny Industrial Cooperative society and created 60 micro galas where different allied manufacturing activities started.
• Over the years technology has changed a lot and so the business scenario.
• Due to space constraint and lack of new technology adoption, now these units are struggling to grow further although market size is growing in multiple folds.
